I went to the gym with all the ellipitcal machines facing out towards the windows. With all the motion of pedals and steppers in syncopation with whatever radio song was on it felt like we should of been able to make the building budge at least a little bit.

The exercise helps with my skittish quirky eye movement around very friendly strangers. All this strangerhood.

There was an article not so long ago about a man who hooked up the schematics of underground generators to playground equipment in order to store electrical energy.

A guy on campus has enough solar panels to power his office in the financial aid building even through the steel gray winters here.

It seems we put all this excess energy into these machines that go nowhere sometimes.
